The Big Bang is back and this time, it’s digital!

If you’ve ever volunteered at a Big Bang event you’ll know they’re all about inspiring young people to think about how what they learn at school is used in real life.

Big Bang Digital 2020 – science, engineering & Covid-19 takes place on Tuesday 14
July and celebrates the amazing work of scientists and engineers in a pandemic.

Big Bang Digital, which is aimed at students aged 11+, offers the chance to talk to
people working in science and engineering and hear about their recent work linked to
the pandemic. The 1-day event celebrates their achievements, hears about challenges,
innovation and collaboration and explores some upsides to lockdown.

It’s going to be an inspiring day of fantastic sessions to show young people the
amazing things you can achieve in STEM and includes interactive polls and live Q&A
sessions.

If you want to inspire more young people to consider a career in STEM, point them to
#BigBangDigital. Share with your schools contacts, colleagues and friends and family.
Perhaps you could ask your employer to talk about it on social, online or in newsletters
etc.

Students can join Big Bang Digital 2020 from school and from home, so spread the
word far and wide! www.digitalbigbang.co.uk
