In this Coding with BBC micro:bit workshop, pupils are guided through a series of challenges where they will create code to move a micro:bit robot through a series of tasks.
Pupils program a transmitter and receiver to introduce remote control, adjusting their code throughout to improve their robot's performance.

How it works

This workshop is suitable for progression steps 3 & 4 and lasts for approximately 2 hours for a class of 30 pupils.

Full day £495 (to accommodate 2 workshops), 2 full days £850, 3 full days £1200.  

Timings and dates can be discussed when booking the experience, half days available on request.

Fully funded workshops are available for secondary schools in Ceredigion, Wrexham and Bridgend through our UK SPF project to the end of February 2026 and in Conwy until the end of March 2026.

Your school will need to provide a projector/screen on which to display instructions and a small amount of floor space where the pupils can test their robots.
