Pilot Project in Blaenau Gwent, Bridgend, Conwy, and Denbighshire. Free to primary school pupils in years 5 and 6 and secondary school pupils in years 10 and 11.

Students will be given a practical Design opportunity that will include using and developing expertise in the following methods and processes: -

• Computer Aided Design and Manufacture

• 3D printing

• Digital Coding and Control

 

The project addresses cross-curricular issues highlighted in the new curriculum, including Digital Competency for primary schools. The project has been mapped against the new Curriculum for Wales and the Literacy, Numeracy, and the Digital competency frameworks. Year 10 and 11 students can gain evidence for their Welsh Baccalaureate Skills Challenge Certificate.

 

All equipment, project delivery, and consumables will be provided free of charge by EESW/ STEM Cymru.
