This project gives pupils the opportunity to participate in a ‘pre-season’ event, prior to receiving an invitation to take part in the FIRST LEGO League Challenge in the autumn term.
Taking place between April and June 2022, schools will receive a SPIKE Prime Kit, and a Replay Challenge Set. Following participation schools will receive a funded registration place for the 2022-23 First Lego League.
Open to pupils aged 11 -14 from the Cardiff and Newport areas with an aim to increase equality, diversity & inclusion and to address gender equality in STEM
Pupils and Teachers will be supported by EESW throughout the project, with in-school support visits, virtual sessions, plus a final celebration event.
