The F1 in Schools Primary Class (previously known as the Jaguar Primary Challenge) engages with primary school students and teachers across the UK.
If you had previously taken part in the Jaguar 2D Challenge, you will be familiar with everything the F1 in Schools Primary Class has to offer.

The challenge is open to students aged 9 - 11 years old and involves designing and manufacturing the fastest car possible, emulating the design and engineering processes employed by real engineering companies.

The challenge is for a team of 4 pupils to design a race car out of card complete with wheels, body and even a model driver. They can design their car using software to produce car design ideas and then manufacture them on a plotter cutter before making the car ready to race.

As an introduction to F1 in Schools Primary Class schools can partake in EESW's 'Speed Challenge' - an activity in which students will engage in a taster session, assembling and racing their own F1 in Schools cars.
